The Location
This year our residential week took place in the historic town of Sedbergh which has had a marketplace charter since 1251 and is in the Yorkshire Dales National Park on the edge of the Lake District. It is close to junction 37 M6 and Oxenholme South Lakes station (160 minutes to London, 110 minutes to Edinburgh and 70 minutes to Manchester) as well as stations on the Settle Carlisle railway. It is officially recognised as the book town of England.

The Gay Gordons, London’s Scottish Country Dance Club for the LGBT community, their friends and supporters, present their eighth annual week of Scottish Country Dancing ; this year in Sedbergh, in North West England.
