LAURIESTON DANCE WEEK

Article text
Our third Laurieston Dance Week which took place
14th to 21st May 2011 was a resounding success.

Dance classes were held each morning focusing on practicing new and challenging dances. The sense of achievement was evident on the faces of the dancers in 4 couple sets, as we remembered the moves and formations of the dances.

Afternoons were at leisure when we explored the beautiful grounds, , the loch, and the general area. Others took part in a group activities.
In the evening there was a hilarious games night in fancy dress, dances and a cabaret evening arranged by group members doing their own thing and more! From Highland fling to an A&E birth, to singing and poetry, and the inimitable 'ROXY'

We all enjoyed the full use of the facilities, including a wood fired sauna, where we 'chilled' in the heat after an exciting day's dancing!

It was a week of dancing, wonderful food, friendship, fun and laughter. Photographs soon to be available here so keep looking and if any one from the week has pics, do send them for possible inclusion.

We hope to vist Laurieston Hall again in May 2012
