LAURIESTON DANCE WEEK 2010

We are delighted to announce our second Laurieston Dance Week which will take place
8th to 15th May 2010

Come and join us for a week of Scottish Country Dancing mixed with time to explore 135 acres of countryside around Laurieston Hall in Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland.

Dance classes will be held each morning focusing on step practice and technique. New and some more complicated dances will be introduced as well as old favourites.

Afternoons will be at leisure when you can walk in the beautiful grounds, swim or take a boat out on the loch, or take part in a group activity.
In the evening there will be dances and entertainments arranged by group members.

The week includes full board in small dormitory accommodation, vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner, dance teaching and full use of the facilities including a wood fired sauna.
Some simple tasks are expected of guests during the week such as help with setting and clearing tables, or vegetable preparation.
There will be a limit of 24 places, open to the LGBT community and their friends and supporters. In fact anybody interested in spending a week of dancing, wonderful food, friendship, fun and laughter. All we ask is that you are gay friendly and happy to dance with everyone.
So check out the dates in your diaries. The cost of the week Full Board is £295. This does not include travel.
