'WINTER GEILIDH" 21st November 2009
The Gay Gordons WINTER GEILIDH Our last Ceilidh held at Cecil Sharp House in Islington with dancing to the lively music of KAFOOZALUM along with great calling by Simon Wales, was a great success

There were almost 150 dancers who had a most enjoyable and fun evening of ceilidh dancing along with a couple of more formal Scottish Country dances.
In the interval a team of 6 dancers did a demo of 'City of Belfast' a strathspey, and 'The Duke of Perth' a reel.

The Geilidh was brought to a close with Auld Lang Syne
and to the sounds of the Bagpipes played by Arthur, our very own Gay Gordons Piper!
